Kazakhstan government to render humanitarian help to China

The government of Kazakhstan has accepted decision to render humanitarian help to China. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov informed during the meeting with the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China in Kazakhstan Chan Siun on Friday, the agency reports referring to Kazakhstan prime minister's press service.

Astana. May 26. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan has accepted decision to render humanitarian help to China. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov informed during the meeting with the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China in Kazakhstan Chan Siun on Friday, the agency reports referring to Kazakhstan prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, the Prime Minister expressed condolences on occasion of the destructive earthquake occurred in the Peoples Republic of China and sent the Ambassador the letter with condolences to the Chinese people and relatives of the victims, as well as wishes of soon recovery of all victims of the earthquake.

K. Masimov informed that Kazakhstan is ready to render aid to China in liquidation of consequences of the destructive earthquake in Sichuan Province. As he said, on behalf of the President Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the government of Kazakhstan accepted decree to render humanitarian aid to the Peoples Republic of China.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan will provide medical products as humanitarian aid to the Peoples Republic of China. The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan will provide rolling-stock for transportation of humanitarian cargo to the Peoples Republic of China.

The Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan will direct food stuffs, tents, warm clothes and articles of prime necessity for the sum more than 433 million KZT.
