In the Ratings of Global Well-Being Kazakhstan occupies the 56 place, the agency reports citing the message of International News and Analysis Agency Washington ProFile.

Almaty. February 20. Kazakhstan Today - In the Ratings of Global Well-Being Kazakhstan occupies the 56 place, the agency reports citing the message of International News and Analysis Agency Washington ProFile.

According to Washington ProFile, the Research Center Legatum Institute has published Ratings of Global Well-Being 2008. According to the research, Australia has the highest rating. The USA has occupied the sixth place in the final table and Russia - 57th.

The authors of the rating recognized that for the well-being of the citizens of this or that country there should be an opportunity of free choice. The government should be effective, small and fair. For the 'poor' countries the main objective should be increase of their well-being and for the 'rich' - improvement of quality of life of the population. The climate and the environment condition influence the level of happiness. The basis of growth of economy - free business, ect.
