Kazakhstan to achieve statehood with steady development by 2024

Astana. July 20. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan should achieve the statehood with steady development by 2024. This objective was set in the concept of country’s transition to steady development, the agency reports.

"Transition to steady development for Republic of Kazakhstan will be carried out on stage-by-stage basis. At the first stage (by 2009) conditions for realization of principles of steady development in all spheres of public and political life, economy diversification, and realization of technological breakthrough should be prepared," the Secretary of Steady Development Council of the Republic, Director of Ecological Department Bolat Bekniyazov said.

Kazakhstan entry the most 50 competitive states of the world is provided on this basis by 2012.

By 2018 Kazakhstan should strengthen the position among the most developed countries, essentially having reduced losses due to irrational use of natural resources and having provided a high level of ecological stability of the country. The Republic achieves the status of "the state of steady development" and promotes further progress in steady development of the Eurasian continent," B. Bekniyazov summarized.
