Kazakhstan to establish target parameters of transition to steady development

Almaty. January 31. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is to establish target parameters of transition to steady development. The Minister of the Environment Protection Nurlan Iskakov said during the round table held by the Ministry of Environment Protection of Kazakhstan together with UNDP in Kazakhstan on the topic Scientific bases of establishment of target parameters of transition of the Republic Kazakhstan to steady development, the agency reports.

"Defining target parameters of steady development for 2007 - 2024 is an essential requirement of the present stage of development of Kazakhstan," Nurlan Iskakov said. "Only scientific approach will allow establishing correct target parameters and providing their achievement."

The main purpose of the round table was the discussion of the main criteria and indicators as the bases for strategic planning of the national economy and social sphere in the conditions of realization of the Concept of transition of Kazakhstan to steady development for 2007 - 2024.

"Steady development is not the restraint of the economy growth by limiting factors. Steady development is a model of management of economic, social and natural processes in their balance," Environment Protection Minister explained.
