Kazakhstan toughened responsibility for infringements of environmental protection legislation

Kazakhstan has toughened the responsibility for infringements of the environmental protection legislation. The meeting participants talked about cooperation of the state institutions in struggle against poaching and other infringements of the environmental protection legislation in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the agency reports citing the message of Committee of Administrative Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Astana. May 29. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan has toughened the responsibility for infringements of the environmental protection legislation. The meeting participants talked about cooperation of the state institutions in struggle against poaching and other infringements of the environmental protection legislation in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the agency reports citing the message of Committee of Administrative Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The chairman of Committee of Administrative Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Moldiyar Orazaliev, held a working meeting with the chairmen of Committees of Wood and Hunting, and Fish Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Committees of Traffic Police and Investigatory Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Committee of Administrative Police, the amendments and additions have been introduced to the Code of Administrative Offences, providing confiscation of transport and instruments used for committing infringements for illegal cutting down, hunting, and catch of animals, to toughen responsibility for infringements of the environmental protection legislation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has introduced proposals to the Criminal and Administrative Codes regarding establishment of responsibility for illegal exchange of objects and products of biological resources.
