Astana. December 7. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan vaccines Refluvac against the influenza A (H1N1) and Kfzfluvac - against A (H5N1) have been sent to be tested to the flu centre in St. Petersburg. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, informed at the press conference, the agency reports.

"Today, we sent a domestic vaccine for final clinical tests to the reference-laboratory of the influenza centre of the World Organization of Public Health located in the Scientific Research Institute of Influenza of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in St. Petersburg," Z. Tuymebayev informed.

"Kazakhstan has now domestic technologies and vaccines to protect its citizens from swine and bird's flu," he noted.

He underlined that Kazakhstan has now export-oriented domestic product, which will cost in the home market less by 40 - 50 % than foreign analogues."
