He reminded that earlier "the programs on rendering assistance to the Aral Sea have been accepted: PBAM-1 and PBAM-2 (program for rendering assistance to the Aral Sea basin). A number of projects are being realized with the active support and participation of the World and Asian Banks and the European Union.

"In the near future, we will start the second phase of the project of regulation of the channel of Syr Darya. 8 components of the program will be realized for total cost of $191 million, among them is a complex of constructions in Saryshaganak gulf costing $82 million," he informed.
