Kazakhstan won first place on index of education development

Kazakhstan has won the first place among 129 countries on development of comprehensive education index. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, informed during the meeting in the department, the agency reports.

Astana. January 23. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan has won the first place among 129 countries on development of comprehensive education index. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, informed during the meeting in the department, the agency reports.

"According to UNESCO Institute for Statistics, Kazakhstan has won the first place among 129 countries on the index of development of comprehensive education. This index includes elementary education, level of literacy of adults, gender index and a percentage of people studied up to the fifth grade," Education Minister informed.

Japan, Germany, Norway and the Great Britain (fifth place) come after Kazakhstan in the education rating. Chad occupies the last position in the rating. Last year Kazakhstan won the 1st place in Asia.
