Kyoto Protocol will help Kazakhstan with energy saving. The adviser of Strategic Development and Analysis Center of the president's administration of Kazakhstan informed at the round table within a month of support of ratification of Kyoto Protocol, Kanat Baygarin, the agency reports.

Astana. September 26. Kazakhstan Today - Kyoto Protocol will help Kazakhstan with energy saving. The adviser of Strategic Development and Analysis Center of the president's administration of Kazakhstan informed at the round table within a month of support of ratification of Kyoto Protocol, Kanat Baygarin, the agency reports.

"We will experience energy deficit of electric power within the nearest several years and it is a proven fact and in this sense Kyoto Protocol can appear the mechanism that will help to save this energy," K. Baygarin said.

He noted that the leader of the state instructed in July the government to prepare the law on ratification of Kyoto Protocol and to present it to Parliament. "I do not know any other international documents that have been discussed and seriously analyzed within 10 years in Kazakhstan. Both state and business structures, and public organizations have studied this document," K. Baygarin explained.

Besides representatives of state bodies, the youth and ecological nongovernmental organizations, in particular the youth wing Zhas Otan of the National democratic Party and Zhas el have taken part in discussion of ratification of Kyoto Protocol.
