Astana. October 22. Kazakhstan Today - The law on the amendments and additions to the acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on information-communication networks does not limit an information transfer over the Internet. The chairman of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Vice Speaker of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, said during the meeting with the OSCE Ambassadors on Wednesday, the agency reports.

"We have had a dialogue with mass media and are informed on some concerns expressed last month. The Senate received the amendments and passed them along with the government. This problem has been exaggerated in foreign mass media. If we look at those amendments, we will not find any reasons for such concerns," K. Tokayev said.

"There are no restrictions for the providers to share information through the Internet channels, therefore, the Internet content has not changed."
