M. Seidenfeld trial accused of fulfillment of embezzlement in Kazakhstan began

Almaty. June 14. Kazakhstan Today - In Almaty preliminary hearings came to end, litigation on the case of the US citizen Menachem Seidenfeld accused of fulfillment of embezzlement on the territory of Kazakhstan began. Almaly regional court of Almaty informed the agency.

"Judicial session will take place at 11.00 a.m. on June 15 in the building of Almaly regional court of Almaty under the presidency of judge Zaure Keykibasova," the court explained. The Office of Public Prosecutor of Almaty that accuses M. Seidenfeld of fulfilment of criminal offence - theft of other's property in large sizes by deceit and breach of confidence on the territory of Kazakhstan directed the case to court.

As it was informed earlier, M. Seidenfeld was in international manhunt for one and a half years and was detained on the territory of the Russian Federation, in Blagoveshchensk. By inquiry of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan he was extradited to Kazakhstan and in November 2006 was transferred to the law enforcement bodies of the Republic.

All judicial session are open to public.
