Majilismen suggests limiting sale of energy drinks in Kazakhstan

The deputy of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Nehoroshev, suggested limiting sale of energy drinks in Kazakhstan at the plenary session of Majilis in his deputy inquiry addressed to the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

Astana. February 3. Kazakhstan Today - The deputy of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Nehoroshev, suggested limiting sale of energy drinks in Kazakhstan at the plenary session of Majilis in his deputy inquiry addressed to the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

"We need to control sale of energy, low alcohol, and alcoholic energy drinks," V. Nehoroshev said.

The content of these drinks is "extremely dangerous chemical created by the US Ministry of Defense in the sixties to stimulate moral and fighting spirit of the armies based in Vietnam."

"The effects from its consumption on an organism were so destructive that the Pentagon had to stop deliveries because of increasing quantity of cases of headaches, brain tumors, and liver illnesses of their soldiers," the deputy informed.

In his opinion, the Kazakhstan youth "has got accustomed to these energy drinks." Among the most preferred by youth energy drinks are Monster, Rock Star, Red Bull, Dizzy and others.
