Masimov assigned to accelerate introduction of 12-year school education

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, at the expanded session in the Ministry of Education and Science assigned to speed up the work on introduction in Kazakhstan of 12-year school education, the agency reports.

Astana. February 3. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, at the expanded session in the Ministry of Education and Science assigned to speed up the work on introduction in Kazakhstan of 12-year school education, the agency reports.

He also noted the necessity to study the world experience in regards to training of children in senior classes. "They study until the 10th grade together and in 11 - 12 classes some go to high schools and others to technical training colleges."

"The university program should be coordinated with 11 - 12 grades. Think it over and include it in the program of development until 2020, which will be prepared by the ministries," K. Masimov said.

He reminded, "The head of state had assigned to develop the new program Balapan so that 100 % of all children have pre-school education by 2020."
