The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan recommends the citizens of Kazakhstan to restraint from trips to Mexico. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at the briefing today, the agency reports.

Astana. April 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan recommends the citizens of Kazakhstan to restraint from trips to Mexico. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at the briefing today, the agency reports.

"As for Kazakhstan citizens, their visa paperwork for the trips to Mexico is, basically, done through the Mexican Embassy in Moscow. According to the Embassy in Moscow, this quantity is quite insignificant. But, nevertheless, in connection with the current situation, we recommend our citizens to think about the necessity of their trips to this country now," Y. Ashikbayev said.

As informed earlier, epidemic of swine flu that began in Mexico has already claimed the lives of 80 people. Nearly 1400 are virus carriers.
