Moratorium on carrying out of competitions for vacant administrative state posts lifted

Moratorium on carrying out of competitions for vacant administrative state posts has been lifted by the order of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

Astana. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - Moratorium on carrying out of competitions for vacant administrative state posts has been lifted by the order of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

"The decision was accepted, taking into account the results of the measures realized by the government of the country related to decrease of vacant administrative state posts in central and local executive bodies," the press service informed.

According to the press service, quota of the number of central and local executive bodies personnel, according to the decree on amendments to the government's orders of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 15, 2004 №1324 and of April 15, 2009 №339, has been reduced by 2577 posts, including in the central executive bodies - 782 posts and local executive bodies - 1795.

"The economy of budgetary funds for 2009 will total more than 600 million KZT, including the republican budget - more than 100 million KZT and local - more than 500 million KZT," the press service informed.
