National Innovative Fund to deny transfer of KazSat satellite to private property

Astana. November 13. Kazakhstan Today - Joint-stock company National Innovative Fund denies the message appeared in of the news agencies, possible transfer of the first Kazakhstan satellite KazSat to private property, the agency reports.

According to mass media, "the satellite has not transferred to committee of state property, therefore, is not excluded from being transferred to private property".

"Fears of transition the satellite to private property are absolutely unreasonable," the press release informs.

According to the press service, on October 11, 2006 Kazakh PM Daniyal Akhmetov charged the heads of the structures "to provide uninterrupted functioning of geostationary communication satellite and exclude an opportunity of alienation and granting of temporarily use by the third parties of shares and property of joint-stock company KazSat without government consent.
