New office of OSCE Bureau will be opened in Dushanbe
Dushanbe. October 21. Kazakhstan Today - The new building of the OSCE Bureau in Tajikistan opened in Dushanbe on Monday, the agency reports referring to Information Agency Asia Plus.
According to the Senior Assistant for Public Relations of the OSCE Bureau in Dushanbe, Firuza Gulomaseynova, the new building of the organization is located on Al Ahmadi Donish Street.
The officials of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of mass media took part in the opening ceremony.
As it was informed earlier, the decision on renaming the OSCE Center in Dushanbe into the OSCE Bureau was accepted in June, 2008 in Dushanbe, following the results of the meeting of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the OSCE chairman, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Alexander Stubb.
According to A. Stubb, renaming the OSCE Center into the OSCE Bureau will not affect activity of the organization. "We will continue working in all directions that OSCE considers important."

Oil spill detected in Caspian Sea
According to space monitoring data, received from Sentinel-1A (02:43 UTC), an oil spill was detected on March 30 in the area of Kashagan field in the Caspian Sea. The spill area is about 7 square kilometers. The spill was drifting to the north of the Caspian Sea," the publication reads.
If these facts are confirmed by Atyrau region’s Ecology Department, unscheduled inspection will be conducted at the North Caspian Operating Company. The results will be reported additionally," the Ecology Committee says.
