Number of patients receiving highly qualified medical care increased 3 times

The total number of the patients having received highly qualified medical care in the first half of the year at regional levels increased 3 times and made 57.4% - 8910 patients (18.4% in the reporting period of the previous year), the rest of the patients underwent treatment at the level of republican clinics and their number made 42.6%.

Almaty. September 5. Kazakhstan Today - The number of patients having received highly qualified medical care at the regional level increased 3 times in the first half of the year, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Implementation of "Salamatty Kazakhstan" Program allows to introduce high technologies of treatment and diagnostics around the country and widely apply them in healthcare organizations of all regions of the country, the Prime Minister's official website informs with reference to the press service of the Minister of Healthcare of Kazakhstan.

"The total number of the patients having received highly qualified medical care in the first half of the year at regional levels increased 3 times and made 57.4% - 8910 patients (18.4% in the reporting period of the previous year), the rest of the patients underwent treatment at the level of republican clinics and their number made 42.6%," the statement reads.

New technologies on transplantation of organs and tissues will be introduced this year. Thus, the operations on transplantation of morrow bone, transplantation of autologous stem cells, kidneys and artificial ventricle have already been conducted in Kazakhstan.
