Nur Otan suggests introducing moratorium on participation in offshore companies
Astana. June 19. Kazakhstan Today - The People's Democratic Party Nur Otan suggests introducing moratorium on participation in the offshore companies in Kazakhstan. The President of Association Club of Editors-in-Chief, Mirbulat Kunbaev, proposed at the 9th session of the Republican Social Council on Struggle Against Corruption at the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan, the agency reports.
"Now, Europe pursues a campaign against the states giving offshore zones and tax indulgences that often hide tax evasion and illegal export of the capital received illegally. Kazakhstan also needs to think of banning of participation in the offshore companies, first of all, in government state orders," M. Kunbayev stated.
According to M. Kunbaev, corrupt officials skillfully use the flaws in the current legislation, "therefore, the Agency for Struggle Against Economic and Corruption Criminality and the Ministry of Justice need to strengthen current legislation analysis and legislatively entrust financial police with this responsibility."
