One more HIV infected child revealed

Shymkent. November 24. Kazakhstan Today - One more HIV infected child has been revealed in the South Kazakhstan oblast, the agency reports.

"Final HIV diagnosis has been revealed in one more child, a 14-year-old boy during testing contact children in one of the areas," head physician of AIDS-center of South Kazakhstan Natalia Babina said at the session of the regional staff on struggle against HIV infection.

According to AIDS-center, for today number of HIV-infected children in South Kazakhstan reached 81, eight died, one is adopted in the USA. In N. Babina report informed that for the period since July 3, 2006, 62. 276 people including 32. 006 pregnant women have been HIV tested. 231 donors out of 238 have been tested, other seven are outside oblast.
