Baikonur. March 20. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for launch of the pilot ship Soyuz TMA-12 proceeds at Baikonur, the agency reports referring to the information of the press service of the Federal Space Center Baikonur.

According to the press service, the experts prepare the pilot spacecraft Soyuz TMA-12 for re-fuelling.

The experts of the Federal Space Center Baikonur, the head plant and Baikonur branch of Samara scientific-industrial space-rocket center Progress started preparation in the assembly-test case of the platform №112 the booster rocket Soyuz-FG that will launch the pilot ship Soyuz TMA-12 to space.

The launch of the space pilot ship Soyuz TMA-12 with the crew of cosmonauts of the International Space Station is planned for April 8, 2008.

The ship will transport the main crew of the cosmonaut of the 17th basic expedition to the International Space Station that includes the Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov and Oleg Kononenko, the cosmonaut of the 14th expedition, the citizen of the Republic of Korea Yi Soyon.
