Preparation for Proton-M and space satellite Cosmos launch came to the end at Baikonur, the agency reports referring to the source in the cosmodrome.

Baikonur. November 30. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for Proton-M and space satellite Cosmos launch came to the end at Baikonur, the agency reports referring to the source in the cosmodrome.

According to the source, the works on assembly of the space head part are being conducted. During assembly works the experts of the cosmodrome are carrying out joining of space vehicle Cosmos with transitive system, after which operations on joining of space vehicle with the booster block Breeze-M will begin.

After completion of assembly works of the space head part the works on joining of space head part with the booster rocket Proton-M will begin next week. Upon completion of this operation on Proton-M regular checks and works on pre-starting preparation will begin.

The launch of Proton-M with the Russian space vehicle Space is planned for December 8.
