Public health services expenditures totaled 229.8 billion KZT in 2006

Astana. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - In 2006 the expenditures of the public health services in Kazakhstan totaled 229.8 billion KZT, that is by 21.8 % higher than in 2005, Health Minister Anatoly Dernovoy said on Friday at the Ministry of Health session, the agency reports.

"The total amount of target transfers with the local budget has made 42.9 billion KZT or 51 % of the ministry expenditures. "However, the local executive bodies spent only 39.9 billion KZT that makes 93 % off the approved plan," A. Dernovoy noted.

According to A. Dernovoy, the least executed budgetary funds are in Mangystau (84.2 %), Akmola (86.1 %), Kostanay (86.7 %), West-Kazakhstan (87.3), Karaganda (88.6 %) and Kyzylorda (89 %) oblasts.

"The Ministry is planning on strengthening monthly monitoring of the use of target transfers, expenditure of the means and the nomenclature of the acquired goods," A. Dernovoy emphasized.
