Public organizations for protection of the rights of mortgage participants have addressed the head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports citing the letter.

Almaty. February 4. Kazakhstan Today - Public organizations for protection of the rights of mortgage participants have addressed the head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports citing the letter.

"We, the representatives of public associations representing public organizations of 14 regions of our country, address You with the request to resolve a dispute situation between the banks and the population of Kazakhstan," the letter states.

In the letter, the representatives of public organizations inform that they represent the interests more than 2 million Kazakhstan citizens suffered from the influence of the world financial crisis.

According to the letter, the representatives of public organizations for protection of the rights of mortgage participants addressed in September, 2008 the government of Kazakhstan with the request to reconsider credit rates towards reduction up to 5 % annual and to freeze payment of the basic debt for 2 years. "The government instead of looking into the situation, made a decision on creation of the fund of stressful assets. But till now this fund has not started its work and the mechanism of its work is not clear. We consider that creation of the fund of stressful assets does not solve the problem and the allocated money as always under "schemes" will be plundered by officials," the representatives of the public inform.

In summary, the representatives of public organizations inform that the public associations of Kazakhstan have made a decision on carrying out of mass hunger-strike and a mass meeting in Almaty.
