Relatives of Kazakhstan citizens arrested in US to arrive for judicial hearing

Relatives of two Kazakhstan citizens, Alibek Taylakov and Alexander Kustovsky, being in the USA and suspected of money counterfeit, will arrive in the USA for judicial hearing. The head of the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, informed today, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - Relatives of two Kazakhstan citizens, Alibek Taylakov and Alexander Kustovsky, being in the USA and suspected of money counterfeit, will arrive in the USA for judicial hearing. The head of the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, informed today, the agency reports.

"The relatives will go there. They have already received visas. They should be for the judicial hearing, which will be on July 21st," I. Omarov informed.

"The accusation has been brought, but it does not mean yet that they were engaged in money counterfeit. It still needs to be proved," I. Omarov said.

"19-year-old Alibek Taylakov and 21-year-old Alexander Kustovsky printed false dollars. They were detained by the police of the city Chatham, Massachusetts State," television channel informs.

According to the American mass media, young men were arrested in the rented apartment. During the search, the police found two computers, a printer, some flashcards and more than 700 false banknotes in twenty - and one hundred denominations.

According to the American laws, the young people may be imprisoned for manufacture and sale of counterfeit money for up to 15 years," television channel informed.

The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, explained that A. Kustovsky and A. Taylakov will not be extradited. They will serve their sentence in an American prison.
