Representatives of religious associations and Ministry of Internal Affairs signed cooperation agreement

The representatives of Spiritual Board of Moslems of Kazakhstan, the Mitropolia of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs signed the cooperation agreement in spiritually-moral education of the population, preventive measures for violation of the law and education of healthy way of life during the meeting taken place in Almaty on Saturday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Almaty. March 17. Kazakhstan Today - The representatives of Spiritual Board of Moslems of Kazakhstan, the Mitropolia of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs signed the cooperation agreement in spiritually-moral education of the population, preventive measures for violation of the law and education of healthy way of life during the meeting taken place in Almaty on Saturday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the press service, meaningful dialogue on spiritual-moral education and education of healthy way of life of the population, education of the society of tolerance and mutual respect between people of different religions and status, respect for customs and national traditions, education in this spirit of the future generation, and also on preservation and strengthening of the interethnic consent, peace and stability in the society took place at the meeting.

The parties accepted the agreement on "joint actions in counteraction to religious extremism, preventive measures of violation of the law, prevention of alcoholism and drug addiction.

The meeting, according to the press service, took place by the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Vice Minister of Internal Affairs Alik Shpekbayev, vice chairman of the Spiritual Board of Moslems of Kazakhstan Muhammad Husain Alsabekov and the secretary of Mitropolia of the Russian Orthodox Church Andrey Litovka took part in the meeting.
