Republican committee for control over elections considers pre-election campaign goes without infringements

Astana. July 31. Kazakhstan Today - Republican public association committee for control over elections considers that pre-election campaign in Kazakhstan is taking place without rough infringements. The Chairman of the organization Kuanysh Sultanov gave the assessment of the committee today in the interview to journalists, the agency reports.

At the same time, K. Sultanov refused to make comments on the conflict between the National Social-Democratic Party and the Republican newspaper Kazakhstan Pravda. As it was informed earlier, the leader of the National Social-Democratic Party Zharmakhan Tuyakbay on July 29 addressed the Public Prosecutor with the official request to institute administrative proceedings against the President of Kazakhstan Pravda O. Kvyatkovsky who did not publish election campaign article of the party paid by Central Election Commission in established according to sortition terms but published it next day having subjected it to censorship.
