Rocket delivery is planned for June 14

Baikonur. June 9. Kazakhstan Today – Proton-K space rocket with the boosting block DM and the first Kazakhstani satellite KazSat will be transported from to start-up building on June 14, the press secretary of Baikonur Federal Space Center Oleg Urusov said on Thursday.

“At present cosmodrome specialists are getting ready infrastructure objects, equipped in launching. Carrier rocket and space apparatus have already been checked and now are in save mode,” O. Urusov said.

Space rocket assembling will take place on the next week. As informed earlier, the launch of Proton-K space rocket with KazSat telecommunication satellite is planned for June 18, 2006 at 4:00 AM.
