Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to sign tripartite agreement on Caspian Sea biodiversity protection

Baku. August 8. Kazakhstan Today - Counting Chambers of Azerbaijan and Russia and Counting Committee for control over Republican budget of Kazakhstan defined the terms of signing the tripartite agreement on joint parallel actions on supervision of efficiency of measures on the Caspian Sea biodiversity protection and the use of the resources for sturgeon reserves replenishment. Counting Chamber of Azerbaijan informed the agency.

The document will be signed within the framework of the session of the Council of the heads of the supreme bodies of financial control of CIS countries to be held in Minsk on September 5-6.

"The agreement will be signed in format Azerbaijan - Kazakhstan - Russia. Iran is ready to join by the separate protocol, but will not become its full member as well as Turkmenistan, consultations with which are conducted by the Iranian party," the Chamber explained.

The audit should be completed by November-December. Counting Chamber of Azerbaijan plans to conduct the audit of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the basic fish farming plants. Counting Chamber prepared analytical note on fish farming activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and included joint actions in the strategic plan for 2006.
