Russia PM to visit Kazakhstan in March

Astana. March 16. Kazakhstan Today - The Russian Prime Minister Michael Fradkov will pay official visit to Kazakhstan on March 29-30, Vice President of the Russian government Sergey Naryshkin said after the meeting with the Kazakhstan PM Karim Masimov.

"We consider this meeting as preparation for the visit of the Prime Minister to Kazakhstan," S. Naryshkin said after the meeting with the Kazakhstan Prime Minister. During the talks with K. Masimov "a wide spectrum of questions of bilateral cooperation in the field of energy was discussed.

S. Naryshkin informed that the question on expansion of capacity of the Caspian pipeline consortium in relation to the intergovernmental agreement signed yesterday between Russia, Greece and Bulgaria on construction of oil pipeline Burgas - Aleksandrupolis was discussed. "Construction of oil pipeline Burgas - Aleksandrupolis influences general situation with transportation of oil in the Black sea region," he explained.
