Session of commission for struggle against corruption took place

The session of the commission under the president of Kazakhstan for struggle against corruption took place on Wednesday under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The session of the commission under the president of Kazakhstan for struggle against corruption took place on Wednesday under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

"During the session the participants summed up the results of realization of the first stage (2006 - 2008) of the state program of struggle against corruption for 2006 - 2010, fulfillment of the assignments of the head of the country on strengthening of struggle against corruption," the press service informs.

According to the press service, the First Assistant to General Public Prosecutor, Iogan Merkel, the Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning, Bakhyt Sultanov, acting chairman of the Agency for Struggle Against Economic and Corruption Criminality, Kayrat Kozhamzharov, and the acting chairman of Public Service Agency, Aryn Orsariyev, made reports at the session.

"Following the results of the session, the commission recommended a number of state bodies to undertake the necessary measures on execution of the assignments of the head of the state concerning struggle against corruption and to accelerate acceptance of the new plan of measures on realization of the second stage of the state program for the period of 2009-2010."
