Session of president's commission on citizenship took place in Akorda

The next session of the president's commission on citizenship took place in Akorda today under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports with reference to the president's press service.

Astana. December 12. Kazakhstan Today - The next session of the president's commission on citizenship took place in Akorda today under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports with reference to the president's press service.

According to the press service, "at the session the commission considered the materials concerning the people wishing to receive the Kazakhstan citizenship. After signing by the head of the state of the corresponding decree, more than 24 thousand people will become the new citizens of Kazakhstan, among whom are compatriots-Kazakhs, and also the representatives of other nationalities who have arrived in the Republic from the CIS countries and the far abroad."

During the session the State Secretary noted that for the last years more than half a million people have become new citizens of our country. "We are glad to welcome new citizens of Kazakhstan, to wish them a happy life and fruitful work for the blessing of our native land," K. Saudabayev said.
