Social-Democratic Party left board of CEC public council for informational disputes

Astana. July 31. Kazakhstan Today - The National Social-Democratic Party declared the secession from the public council for consideration of informational disputes at the Central Election Commission, the agency reports.

"I cannot be in the public council any longer. Therefore, I declare the secession from the council," NSDP representative at CEC Temirali Tashimbetov stated today upon the end of the CEC session.

He reminded that at the session of the public council taken place on July 27, during consideration of NSDP request in connection with refusal of Almaty branch of Habar agency in broadcasting of election campaign clip of the party, the decision to direct the video clip for inspection to the State Office of Public Prosecutor was accepted. The direction of clips for inspection to the State Office of Public Prosecutor during election campaign, in our opinion, is simply delaying of the opportunity to broadcast those clips on TV," T. Tashimbetov said.

"As for the terms of consideration in the State Office of Public Prosecutor the legislation provides 5 days. We will receive the resolution within five days - till August 6," the Chairman of the Central Electoral Committee said having emphasized that the decision on participation or nonparticipation in the work of the council is the right of the representatives of the party.
