Almaty. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - Society of Women-Invalids Bibi-Ana demands retaining their office. The chairman of Bibi-Ana Society, Bibigul Imangazina, stated at the press conference on Tuesday in her address to the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev and Timur Kulibayev, the agency reports.

According to the chairman of the organization, Society of Women-Invalids Bibi-Ana was located on the first floor of the building located on the corner of Abay Avenue and Baytursynov Street and belonged to the state for more than 15 years. However, when the building was transferred to the private hands the problems have begun.

"When the state owned this building everything was all right: the Society occupied the building for fifteen years. As soon as perturbations with the private companies began, we started having these problems. The Society has the problems now due to illegitimate transfer of the building from the state to private entities," the lawyer, Sergey Utkin, who defended the interests of the public organization in court, said.

The members of the public organization of women-invalids Bibi-Ana plan to hold picket at the building on August 4.
