Soyuz TMA-8 spacecraft delivered to Baikonur

BAIKONUR. February 11. Kazakhstan Today - The spacecraft Soyuz TMA-8 was delivered to Baikonur space centre, Oleg Urusov, the press secretary of the Federal Space Centre said on Friday.

“Soyuz TMA-8 is brought from the space-rocket plant RSC “Energiya”. “Today it is already planned delivering the spaceship to the assembly-testing area then to unship and install it. After the working team will start the launching preparations,” O. Urusov noted.

“Soyuz-FG” carrier rocket is to be launched on March 30. The crew of the 13th expedition to the International Space Station with Pavel Vinogradov (Russia) and Jeffrey Williams (USA) as well as Markus Pontes, the Brazilian visiting spaceman are the members of this expedition.
