Spaceship Soyuz TMA-18 launched from Baikonur

The space rocket Soyuz-FG with the piloted spaceship Soyuz TMA-18 was launched today at 10.04 Astana time from cosmodrome Baikonur. The spaceship was launched into Earth-orbiting artificial satellite, the agency reports citing RosCosmos press service.

Almaty. April 2. Kazakhstan Today - The space rocket Soyuz-FG with the piloted spaceship Soyuz TMA-18 was launched today at 10.04 Astana time from cosmodrome Baikonur. The spaceship was launched into Earth-orbiting artificial satellite, the agency reports citing RosCosmos press service.

According to Vesti. Ru, Soyuz TMA-18 will deliver to the International Space Station the crew of the expedition - Russian cosmonaut, Alexander Skvortsov, Michael Kornienko, and the NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell. They will work in the orbit for about half a year.

Joining of the piloted spaceship Soyuz TMA-18 with the International space station is planned for April 4, 2010 at 09.26 Moscow time.
