Almaty. May 26. Kazakhstan Today - The State Commission approved the crew of the manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15 that will be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) from Baikonur, the agency reports citing Roscosmos press service.

According to the press service, the State Commission held the meeting to approve the crew of the manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15 at the site number 17 of Baikonur.

The Commission approved the main crew members: commander of the manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Roman Romanenko (Roskosmos), flight engineer of Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Frank De Winne (European Space Agency), flight engineer of Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Robert Thirsk (Canadian Space Agency).

Backup crew: commander of the spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Dmitriy Kondratiev (Roskosmos), flight engineer of Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Andre Kaupers (European Space Agency), flight engineer of Soyuz TMA-15, ISS flight engineer - Chris Hadfield (Canadian Space Agency). The space rocket Soyuz -FG with the manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15 will be launched on May 27 at 16.34 Astana time.
