Supreme Court, IUJO signed cooperation agreement in Paris

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Union of Judicial Officers (IUJO) signed the cooperation agreement on November 29, 2007 in Paris, the agency reports referring to the MFA press service.

Astana. December 5. Kazakhstan Today - The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Union of Judicial Officers (IUJO) signed the cooperation agreement on November 29, 2007 in Paris, the agency reports referring to the MFA press service.

According to the press service, the chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan Kayrat Mami and the president of the International Union of Judicial Officers Jacque Isnar signed cooperation agreement between the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan and IUJO in Paris on November 29, 2007 at the next session of permanent council of the International Union of Judicial Officers.

The delegation of Kazakhstan headed by the chairman of the Supreme Court K. Mami on November 30 met the chairman of the Court of Appeal of France Vincent Lamand. During the meeting the questions of cooperation and exchange of experience between the supreme judicial institutions of two countries have been discussed. "The parties exchanged opinions concerning activity of judges on execution of verdicts, specialization of courts, juries, administration of courts, application of new technologies in legal proceedings," the press release states.
