Tajikistan pre-election campaign being held without infringements

Moscow. October 17. Kazakhstan Today - Representatives of the International Institute of monitoring of democracy development, parliamentarism and observance of suffrages of citizens of the state-participants of Inter-Parliamentary assembly of CIS have not revealed any infringements in pre-election campaign of the President of Tajikistan, the agency reports.

"At present, registration of the candidates has been completed. This stage of election campaign is being held according to the current legislation, without any infringements," the message widespread by the Institute representatives states.

As it was informed earlier, pre-election campaign was officially started by five candidates - the leader of the National Democratic Party, the current President Emomali Rakhmonov, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the Majilis deputy Ismoil Talbakov, the leader of the Party of Economic Reforms, the rector of Tadjik Transport Institute Olimdzhon Boboyev, the Chairman of the Socialist Party Abduhalim Gafarov and the leader of the Agrarian Party Amir Karakulov.

Presidential elections of Tajikistan have been scheduled for November 6, 2006.
