There are no reasons for panic in Almaty in connection with spread of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. Deputy akim of Almaty, Serik Seydumanov, said at the meeting in Almaty akimat, the agency reports.

Almaty. July 29. Kazakhstan Today - There are no reasons for panic in Almaty in connection with spread of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. Deputy akim of Almaty, Serik Seydumanov, said at the meeting in Almaty akimat, the agency reports.

"There are no reasons for panic. All our services are ready: state epidemiological station service, health service, and our hospitals are ready. We have the necessary quantity of medicine and we know how to treat the disease," S. Seydumanov said.

"The city has enough medical products for the present stage," deputy akim said. "We can cure 1000 people," he noted.
