Thermometry to be performed onboard of planes to reveal influenza A (H1N1)

Thermometry will be performed onboard of the planes to reveal the signs of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. The Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, informed at the government meeting of the special group created to prevent spread of the influenza A (H1N1), the agency reports.

Astana. July 28. Kazakhstan Today - Thermometry will be performed onboard of the planes to reveal the signs of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. The Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, informed at the government meeting of the special group created to prevent spread of the influenza A (H1N1), the agency reports.

"We need to begin the work on board of the palnes. If a child has a fever of 37.1 degree, thermal imager will not record it, therefore, we need to perform thermometry onboard. We have laser thermometers for this purpose," the Minister of Health said, addressing Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Serik Ahmetov.

According to the Minister of Health, "we will know accurately and clearly who is sick and who is not."

As informed earlier, as of today, 12 people have been diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus in Astana. 11 people are undergoing treatment, three of them are hospitalized, and eight people - out-patients.

13 people have been diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus in Kazakhstan.
