Two suspect in case of abduction of Nurbank ex-chairmen pled guilty - Ministry of Internal Affairs

Two suspects in the case concerning Nurbank ex-chairmen abduction Sergey Koshlay and Aydar Bektybayev voluntary returned from Vienna to Kazakhstan and gave themselves up in the department of internal affairs of Almaty.

Almaty. September 18. Kazakhstan Today - Two suspects in the case concerning Nurbank ex-chairmen abduction Sergey Koshlay and Aydar Bektybayev voluntary returned from Vienna to Kazakhstan and gave themselves up in the department of internal affairs of Almaty. The Chairman of the press service of the Internal Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan Bagdat Kodzhakhmetov informed on Monday at the briefing in Almaty.

"Today two of the suspects, Aydar Bektybayev and Sergey Koshlay, came to the law enforcement bodies of Kazakhstan and expressed voluntary desire to cooperate," B. Kodzhahmetov informed.

"They state that they have arrived in Kazakhstan using personal connections and operative experience. The facts and details will be found out during the investigation," B. Kodzhahmetov informed.

He noted that, despite their voluntary desire to cooperate, S. Koshlay and A. Bektybayev are in custody. "Nobody cancelled manhunt or changed the sanction, therefore, now they are under arrest," B. Kodzhahmetov explained, having added, that "now they are the suspects and are in the investigatory insulator of the Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty ".

B. Kodzhahmetov also informed, "considering the situation, possible insinuations and the request of Bektybayev and Koshlay, the investigatory body has given them the opportunity to address the public through mass media."
