Unified National Testing began in Kazakhstan

Almaty. June 4. Kazakhstan Today - Unified National Testing began in Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, "108 672 people, 82 % of total number of graduates, will participate this year in Unified National Testing. 3234 people will participate in UNT in Astana. 1287 will take the test in the state language and 1947 - in the Russian."

"2939 graduates are expected to receive Altyn belgi medal in the Republic. 130 students out of 2939 are from Astana," the press service informed.

"From June 4 till June 10th the students will be able to take tests in 154 testing points, in 49 high schools and 105 schools. The graduates will take UNT in five subjects: compulsory - the Kazakh or Russian languages (language of instruction), mathematics, history of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh language for the schools with the Russian language of instruction and Russian for the schools with the Kazakh language of instruction and profile elective subjects (physics, chemistry, biology, geography, world history, Kazakh literature, the Russian literature, and foreign language)."
