USAID to allocate $9.8 thousand

Almaty. October 31. Kazakhstan Today - The International Development Agency of the USA (USAID) will allocate $9,8 thousand for realization of the project Increase of knowledge of the population concerning pension reform of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Council of public association City center of female initiatives Tatyana Golovach informed today during the press conference, the agency reports.

According to T.Golovach, the purpose of the project - information and explanation of cumulative pension system regulations to the population.

The project started in Almaty from the beginning of October of 2006 and will be carried out within a year with the support of Small Grants Program of the Embassy of the USA and the Department of Employment and Social Programs of the city. According to T.Golovach, the work with unemployed, mothers with many children, volunteers, and farmers - those who do not deduct payments in pension funds has been planned.
