VI international conference Nuclear and Radiation Physics began its work in Almaty

Almaty. June 5. Kazakhstan Today - The VI international conference Nuclear and Radiation Physics began its work in Almaty in the Institute of Nuclear Physics on Monday dated for the 50th anniversary from the date of formation of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, the agency reports.

300 scientists-physicists from 20 countries of the world, among which are the Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Germany, South Korea, Slovakia, Canada are taking part in the work of the conference. The delegates will discuss the questions of nuclear and applied physics, the radiation science of materials, new materials for hydrogen power, nuclear-physical methods in biology, medicine and agroecology.

During the conference two round tables Prospects of Development of Nuclear Medicine in Kazakhstan and Actual Problems of reactor science of materials will be carried out. Following the result of the reports, the decision to the address of the Ministry of Power and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan will be accepted.

The conference will last till June 7.
