Water volume in Toktogul reservoir in Kyrgyzstan in comparison with the last year has reduced by 600 million cubic meters. The Minister of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources Saparbek Balkibekov informed at the government session on Wednesday, the agency reports.

Bishkek. April 10. Kazakhstan Today - Water volume in Toktogul reservoir in Kyrgyzstan in comparison with the last year has reduced by 600 million cubic meters. The Minister of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources Saparbek Balkibekov informed at the government session on Wednesday, the agency reports.

"In March, 2008, water level in Toktogul reservoir in comparison with the last year reduced by 600 million cubic meters," S. Balkibekov said.

Now the reservoir is filled with 6.5 billion cubic meters of water that is less than almost 4 billion cubic meters compared to the similar period of the last year.
