Astana. June 13. Kazakhstan Today - Weak technical equipment of customs bodies creates conditions for corruption offences, the official representative of State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan Saparbek Nurpeisov stated.
"What kind of efficiency can we talk about if we lack warehouses of temporary storage, cargo handling equipment, loaders and packing devices? How is it possible without these components to demand full examination of trucks with cargo from 40 up to 70 tons, pressed in bales in such a manner that after their opening the goods of only one bale can fill a truck completely?" he said.
The representative of the State Office of Public Prosecutor considers that it is necessary to consider the problem on technical modernization of frontier customs and their appropriate equipment with modern tools of control.
