WHO registered 2099 confirmed cases of A (H1N1) influenza

World Health Organization (WHO) on May, 7 received official information on 2099 laboratory confirmed cases of infection - the influenza A (H1N1) in 23 countries of the world, the agency reports citing the UN News Center.

Almaty. May 8. Kazakhstan Today - World Health Organization (WHO) on May, 7 received official information on 2099 laboratory confirmed cases of infection - the influenza A (H1N1) in 23 countries of the world, the agency reports citing the UN News Center.

1112 cases have been registered in Mexico, 42 people died. 642 cases have been registered in the USA, 2 people died. As of today, WHO received reports on outburst of the influenza A (H1N1) in Austria (1), Canada (201), China (1), Costa Rica (1), Colombia (1), Denmark (1), Salvador (2), France (5), Germany (9), Guatemala (1), Ireland (1), Israel (4), Italy (5), Netherlands (1), New Zealand (5), Portugal (1), the Republic of Korea (2), Spain (73), Switzerland (1), Sweden (1) and Great Britain (15).
