According to the source, preliminary delivery of the booster rocket Zenith-3SLB to the starting complex of platform №45 for the so-called "dry delivery ", during which the rocket is not filled up with fuel components, but is established on the starting table, is being prepared at the cosmodrome.

According to the source, the forthcoming launch of the booster rocket Zenith-3SLB - the first from Baikonur - surface launch will be carried out within the limits of the new international program. The assembly-test case on the platform №42 have been reconstructed and the starting complex of the platform №45 have been modernized to realize launches of the booster rocket Zenith-3SL used for launches from the sea platform Odyssey under the program Sea Launch.

Satellite Amos-3 should replace in the orbit space device Amos-1 launched in 1996. "Amos-3 will expand cover zone of re-transmitters of Q-range, will provide high-quality communication and broadband data transmission on the territory of the Near East, Europe, Africa, as well as some areas of Northern and South America," the source explained.
