Best result of Kazakhstan team demonstrated Skier Odnodvortsev

Almaty. February 13. Kazakhstan Today - A citizen of Kazakhstan Maksim Odnodvortsev took the 12th prize in ski competition on 30 km distance. This was the best result of Kazakhstan sportsmen within the first two days of Olympic Games, the agency correspondent reports.

Along 30-kilometer distance (15 km-classic style and 15 km-free style) in duathlon M. Odnodvortsev was the third, but in the end of the distance came the 9th.

Kazakhstan citizen M. Odnodvortsev was left 8,8 seconds behind the winner of the competition Yevgeniy Dementyev.

A 25-year old M. Odnodvortsev had already won two gold medals in Asian Games 2003, the first prize in the World Universiada, 2005 in relay race. However, the ninth prize in the Olympic games outweighs all the other athlete’s achievements.

Besides M. Odnodvortsev, three more Kazakhstan sportsmen took part in 30 km race. Andrey Golovko finished the 30th, Dmitry Eremenko took 45th prize, Andrey Kondrashev appeared to be 61st.
